If you like messed up, dark romances that blur boundaries and contain dubious consent with a dash of gratuitous murder, you might enjoy this. Otherwise, move along.

I really enjoyed this; blew through it in two days. The plot was good, the smut was great, and the couple of twists thrown in were enjoyable.

What I did not enjoy was the bastardization of the tattoo industry. I may be biased because I'm a tattooer. If you're going to fetishize an industry like this, at least do the bare minimum research. It's not a tattoo "gun," it's a machine. You don't wipe down a fresh tattoo with an alcohol wipe. You're not touching anything with used gloves, like a phone?! Gross! Health department would shut you down SO quick. If you're supposedly one of the best artists in one of the biggest cities in the country, you're not booking a tattoo at a consult for the next day, you're booking them months out, and you're sure as hell not discussing your sex life in detail with the involved coworker in front of your clients. Maybe you're doing this if you're working at an illegitimate scratcher shop, but if you're working at a place like that you're not going to be "one of the best."  You're not going to go back in on a SCABBED???!!! tattoo a week into healing, and your clients aren't going to have their tattoos wrapped for weeks. I could go on.

TLDR: I enjoyed everything except the tattoo bits. Those took a couple years off my lifespan, I think.

I don’t think I have ever questioned myself as much as I did while reading this book. Reid is a psychopath like blood thirsty psychopath. But I just LOVE him!!
At the start of the book, I keep doubting EVERY single male character in the book on who might Reid be but towards the middle when I was a 100% sure, the reveal still shock me like I hadn’t had any clue.
Overall If you like a dark depraved psychopath and overall amazing stalker hero this book is 1000% for you!!!

I didn't think I'd find a Dark Stalker Romance that could top Haunting Adeline - H.D. Carlton, but Reid comes in at a close second to Zade. This book has a twist, that you kinda see coming but you'll love it when you find out you were right!
If you love the thrill of an unhinged stalker with "Touch her and you die" vibes, READ THIS!!
This book is Told from multiple POVs!

So, when I started this book I imagined something like "she runs through the woods and someone is chasing her with a mask"... This book is so so so far away from that I was pleasantly surprised.

FMC is a tattoo artist and you get to know her and fool around with few of bad hot boys...and then there is her stalker, he stalks and waits through more than half of book, so much you wonder if he's ever gonna show himself, but it adds to the buildup.
