Just finished listening to this on the way home from work today. My daughter & I loved it! It's our 2nd favorite Anne book so far, after the original Anne of Green Gables. It has some fabulous new characters along with a few fantastic plot twists. This series is certainly making our commute go a lot faster!

Loved it - as I do every time I re-read it.

This book was too much about the other characters in Anne's life. If she is the protagonist (um, it is ANNE's house of dreams) shouldn't the story revolve around her, not Leslie or Capt. Jim? Ah well, still a sweet book, although not my favorite in the Anne series.

The most I remembered of this book from reading it as a tween was the character (Cornelia) who is a Presbyterian and despises Methodists... as a little Catholic, I didn’t get it. As an adult who has mainly attended a Methodist church... I still don’t get it.
