It's definitely better than the first book. Way more plot in this one then there was in the first one. I also like that Callie was more assertive with Hayden through this part of the story. 

I still don't like Hayden as a character. He's not the vibe at all. I didn't like the way he treated Callie through both books. Idk there was just something about his character that rubbed me the wrong way. While yes he had the intention of protecting her but it just wasn't it.... idk 

Storyline ... this one was better

However.... I wasn't a huge fan of the ending.

Glad I read this through Unlimited...

And really glad I didn't purchase.
Hated it.

I like this genre, so it's not like i didn't know what i was getting into... but this book just...nope.
Can't even put into words my frustration with the FMC.
Really mad at myself for continuing to read until the end. Should have been a DNF.

Let down.
the MMC would do anything for her mental and physical wellbeing but his unhealthy obsession with violence makes it hard for them to function as a couple.

I felt as though there was so much potential with this book leading up to the end but the last few chapters felt very very rushed and unedited.

the pregnancy trope has me gagging like please bring an original ending to the story, just because she's pregnant doesn't mean she should just forgive him for everything.

left me fuming mad and annoyed
