nothing crazy happens in this book but it was a beautifully told story of figuring out how to live life through the small everyday things
emotional funny hopeful fast-paced

There are really good parts to this book and some beautiful life truths, but I just didn’t like how it was written. I get bored when the protagonist is in mental spirals, which is most of this book. I also didn’t care for all the Google searches, but maybe that’s because I’m old.

I love when I can sink into a story, and also relate and learn from the character’s experience.

The audiobook is a must!

Main character Maddie has entirely too many burdens foisted on her as she struggles to maintain her career, and keep everyone happy. This is a light hearted look at some difficult subjects with a predictable happy ending. I gave it an extra star for the fine reading by Heather Agyepong.

“Everyone talks about the importance of standing out but never the benefits of fitting in.”
