adventurous funny mysterious tense medium-paced

A delightful cozy mystery. The TV set baking competition was a nice way of introducing more of the town or Lake Eden.

Very similar to the first one in the series - bit disappointing

Love this series. It is an easy read that makes you want to continue the series :) love the twists and turns that you may not expect!

I liked the plot of this one better than the first one! I guessed the twist ending a bit earlier than it was revealed, but it was still good. Like I said in my review of the first one, this book is not objectively great, but it is so cozy and fun that you just can’t help but enjoy it.

Cute story. Delicious sounding recipes.

Was looking for a new fun female detective series (i.e., Kinsey Milhone) but this was definitely not it!

Strawberry Shortcake Murder by Joanne Fluke
This story starts out with Hannah and she's one of the judges along with Roy, a coach at the school.
Hours later he's murdered and his wife is the one to call Hannah for help. Like how you don't have to know the characters, you are brought up to date from previous books but not the full whole story.
Story goes back in time also for Hannah and her aversion to dating married men, not that she knew at the time...
Her sister and mother help with clues also among others who don't even know that the information they gave them was useful.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
