I liked this book and the premise.

I'm not that fond of the main character, Hannah, and there were just enough little things that annoyed me in the first two books -
- Hannah stupidly putting herself in danger
- the attitude of the police towards her involvement
- [a man beating his wife] "... was a shameful thing that was best kept secret"
- the way Hannah interacts with her mother
- snark against the political correctness of using "Native American" instead of "Indian"
- the way she treats her two love interests
that I'm going to give the rest of them a miss.

I’m really liking this series. I really appreciate how the author actually includes the recipes.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed the characters but I figured out who the murderer was too quickly this time! Regardless, if you're looking for a nice, quick, âcozy mysteryâ then this fits the bill.
