I have so many issues with the main character... but I like the mystery. So I’ll probably keep reading until it gets unbearable.

Just your average cozy mystery. I didn't enjoy this one as much as Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. There was too much going on for my taste. The central murder plot seemed to get all muddled with Hannah's "investigation." Oh and a second murder was added. Totally unnecessary. And the reasoning for a lot of the "evidence" was far fetched, even for a cozy mystery.
Also... I know this was written in the early 2000s but all the digs at women's weight... like c'mon!
But now that I've started this series I must persevere and complete it. Hopefully Blueberry Muffin Murder is more focused than this one.
