3.5/5 rounded down to 3.

I have recently been getting more into these "cozy mystery" books and this second entry into the Hannah Swensen series has not changed my mind at all about wanting to read this series in it's entirety.

In this one we see Hannah once again discover a body (dear god how many bodies is she going to discover in such a small town!!!!) and we watch as she goes around the police to work to solve it on her own. Not much is different in this one than the first one, it's a pretty cut and dry little who-dun-it while also throwing in cute slice of life plot threads.

If you are looking for a nice little break from the horrors of every day life or just need a break from that big book you are reading (as I do at times) then crack this open and go on a fun little murder mystery romp with stupid little love triangles and fun recipes throughout!

This was a quick read, and another good installment. You do need to suspend disbelief with certain situations to enjoy the story
Spoiler, such as Norman sharing confidential patient information and Mike sharing investigation details with Hannah
. Still, this is a feel-good cozy mystery, and the embedded recipes look good!

ok not my typical read, but it was good, I knew who done it half way through the book, just wish it would have been a little later in the book

Really love this series! What a great cozy mystery that you can’t put down!

3.5. This was better than the first! However, it feels like this series was written in the 1980s...for multiple reasons. Regardless, this series has become a late night audiobook routine for me. I’ll definitely listen to the next one.
