i hope it all makes sense. or, if it doesn't make sense, i hope it makes nonsense in ways that might get you thinking. the problem is not that the world is a mess but that we expect it to be otherwise.

we might have to unplug ourselves to find a kind of stripped back, acoustic version of us

your experience of the world isn't this objective unchangeable thing called the world. no, your experience of the works is your interaction with it, your interpretation of it.

and here i was in the supposed prime of my life crying about nothing in a shopping center.

the ability to check something turning into the compulsion to do so

products live in a world of physical space but brands seek out mental space (market psych)

an evening of heaven in a glass doesn't outweigh a month of hell in a cage (re most addictions)

it is hard to see the things we may have problems with if everyone has the same problems (phones, work ethic, body image)

also one of my most used quotes and thoughts re head for the warm people was coined by matt haig?? had no idea mate had changed my life so much lol

He really writes in a relatable way for those who have been through mental health stuff. Highly recommended! He tackles very well just how stressful modern society is for a lot of us in this day and age.
