Thought I had it figured out, then I wondered…back and forth the whole while I was reading it. Really liked this one!

This book pulled at my heart strings. I will say that I saw the twist coming from a mile away BUT I still think this book was fantastic!

Literally couldn’t put this one down. I read it cover to cover in less than twelve hours. Lindsey married Andrew at nineteen. Their love story went from storybook to nightmare as Andrew became dangerously possessive and his drinking increased dramatically. Fearing for her life, Lindsey took Sophie and fled. Andrew ended up in prison, but now eleven years later, he has been released. The nightmares begin again. The reader is left guessing how things will eventually turn out. This was a nice novel to curl up with on a lazy day.

Chevy Stevens has some kind of hold on creating strong and interesting female relationships that draw me in. She has rightfully earned the spot of one of my favorite authors on suspense.

I was second-guessing and flip-flopping on who was the culprit and I am somewhat glad and somewhat disappointed that I wasn't right. When it was reveleaved that it was Marcus who was stalking Lindsey, I was not surprised. I would love to know more about the daughter's boyfriend (short term memory I already forgot his name) and to know about his relationship with Sophie.

So disappointed in this one. The first few chapters were really good and I was hooked from the start. But the second was like a train wreck. It defies belief that
Spoiler this women had two different men trying to kill her. The red herring with Jared was dumb and we never find out why he was being such a weirdo wrt Lindsay. Also, the attempt to rehabilitate the abusive husband towards the end was just barf-worthy.
. I've enjoyed other books by this author, so I'm not saying never again, but...

Really good, but lacked any surprises along the way. It’s pretty easy to predict what happens when there are only like 4 characters in the book and one is kinda useless.

Well, Stevens wove a tale that had every single named man, save one, look like a creeper. It wasn't until one died that I figured out who the true creeper was. This was an excellent story, very believable and heart wrenching. I loved all the characters, yes, even the creepers.

Chevy Stevens is an amazing author!!! While I guessed who was behind all the "action", I did second guess myself a few times and I'd guessed who was who as well. Not my favorite of Stevens but still very good!!

For a suspense thriller, I overall enjoyed this. They can sometimes be duds but I was kept on my toes for majority of the book and the twist in the end was pretty good.
