ARC Review-Releases 6/30

Keegan has been crushing on British movie star Loomis for awhile. He’s best friends with her family so they have been around each other. She’s made her peace with always being friends. But a series of unexpected events leads to Loomis and Keegan faking their relationship and spending time on an island in the keys where their nights are just as hot as the days.

I love the way the story was built around both characters finding themselves in these unexpected roles.  Loomis as a single dad. And Keegan suddenly in this “relationship” while also keeping one of her roles hidden.  The found family and huge extended family of second generation Fritz family was everything I wanted for these two.

This was single dad+ NOT the nanny (I know most of you love that but it’s not my fave) AND it was fake dating which I love.

Now give me Vander’s story.

A sincere thank you to J. Saman and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Undeniably Unexpected, the sixth installment in the Undeniable series. This book follows Keegan Fritz, a dedicated doctor, and Loomis Powell, a charismatic actor, as they embark on a fake dating setup that quickly evolves into something genuine.
Keegan and Loomis shared a spark and a chance at romance once before, but the timing wasn’t right. Now, fate gives them a second chance of sorts—and J. Saman delivers it with heart, heat, and humor. Their chemistry leaps off the page, and the banter is as sharp as ever. One of the highlights of this story is how mature and grounded their connection feels—there’s no unnecessary drama or miscommunication, just two people figuring out how to make it work.
While this installment focuses less on the medical aspects—especially with Keegan on medical leave—it never loses the emotional depth and charm that define the series. It's a fresh, feel-good romance that pulls you in and keeps you invested in every moment.
A thoroughly enjoyable read, and I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!

****ALC****

Thanks to Valentines PR for selecting me for this ALC. And a HUGE!!! thank you to the wonderful author for writing this amazing book. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤

Loomis and Keegan.

When it comes to this group of very close knit family and found family set, my heart is always so full and filled with warmth. I love them because of how they always show up for each other and no matter what it is going on, they will drop everything to come together and fix whatsoever problem there is.

Loomis and Keegan are definitely two of my favorites because I just loved the secret yearning and pining for each other. They liked each other alot but never admitted it and then he came through for her when she needed it from literally the first chapter. Throughout the book it became obvious to both of them that they had feelings and when they couldn't take it anymore? Explosion🔥🔥🔥🔥. I was here for every second of it. Can we talk about how adorable that little cutie Fen was? And that epilogue? *chefs kiss* I loved every second of it. Also, not super important but I LOVE me a British accent and I LOVE me an emerald cut diamond okay?! So just call me Keegan Fritz and plus she's a book girlie y'all and not only that but she has herself a secret pen name so you know what that means. The spicier the better for her and she got that with Loomis too because their chemistry was 🫠🫠🫠🫠.

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. The book made so much sense because they were indeed Undeniably Unexpected. Yes, they liked each other and yes they were yearning for each other but they had so much going on in their lives and they wanted to focus on work for Keegan and Fen and work for Loomis. But everything fell in place and they were forced to be in a situation where it helped them to show how they felt and let down their walls and let each other in. They're perfect for each other and you don't have to wonder if they'll be together forever because they will be. She's getting the HEA she writes and she's also getting that 🥵🥵🥵🥵 she writes about lol. I can't wait to see what's to come next in this series and I'm also sad that it'll be finishing soon. But I loved seeing the OGs because in a series like this we'll always get to see all the couples from before. The book was *chefs kiss*

✅A tattooed British bad boy movie star
>>> he’s also a surprise daddy (like a baby boy is dropped on his doorstep)
✅A billionaire heiress trying to get her ex boyfriend to back off.
>>> she also moonlights as a paranormal romance author

These two enter into a mutually beneficial ”fake dating” relationship and end up escaping the press by travelling to a private island. The chemistry and tension from Loomis and Keegan from the beginning is gripping. Throw in the forced proximity of being on an island together - how could they not be all over each other? And, I mean, ALL OVER EACH OTHER 😏

Loomis is swoony and worships Keegan. I loved how their relationship evolved, and watching them each with baby Fen is super cute.

I need to go back and read the other books in this series PRONTO!

#6 in the series, but the first for me!
Definitely going back and reading the rest! Listed to this as an ALC and loved it!

Actor Loomis Powell just found out he has a son. Now, months later, he’s in a fake relationship with heiress Keegan Fritz (also doctor and author). Except.. he doesn’t want it to be just fake. He’s never seriously dated before.. but Keegan just might make him want that. Can they survive their tropical getaway from the press without falling in love for real?

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I get introduced to Loomis Powell. Like how does it keep getting better, I feel bad for all these men out there they just can't hold they own when you got men like Loomis. Anyhow Undeniably Unexpected was chef's kiss, the story line, characters, writing and plot where pure perfection. Everything flowed so incredibly well together. I loved every minute of this story. J Saman has surely become one of my auto buy author's I know for a fact I'll enjoy anything written. And I sure can't wait till the next one comes out cause I've been waiting for this particular characters story. Pick up Undeniably Unexpected trust me you'll enjoy every minute of it.

ALC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review

I couldn't have asked for a better return to this series! Undeniably Unexpected became my new favorite in the series and also gave me my favorite J. Saman couple, because Loomis & Keegan exceeded all the expectations I had for them since the author started giving me those little glimpses of their friendship in the previous books. I loved the direction their love story went, the Loomis unexpected single dad + bad boy element, and the fake relationship both characters end up in to protect Fen. This book gave me everything I love in my romances and was a true pleasure to read!

Loomis is a character I fell in love with since Undeniably Infatuated and the truth is that I didn't expect J. Saman to give me his story in this series, that's why I was the happiest when the signs that he and Keegan would be something more started, and I've been waiting for this book ever since. First of all, I loved that the author gave me a good glimpse into this character's past: I was surprised to read everything he experienced during his childhood in London, the decisions he made at such young age and how all of that plus the conversation he had with his mom were things that marked him until his adulthood. I also loved that Loomis was a few years younger than Keegan and that gives this character with the bad boy image a moment of insecurity, plus I really liked that he is more than what the press says about him, that despite the unexpected nature of his paternity, he never hesitated to love and care for Fen as he deserves and that he is the sweetest and most adorable dad too, especially when he calls his boy "little lad", that melted my heart. And the best of all is that J. Saman gave this character a very interesting arc in which he grows throughout the story, finds his place next to the Fritz and his entire circle and with one of the most beautiful endings of the series.

I think Keegan is one of the characters that has gone the most unnoticed in the series so far, at least for me, and I also think that's why I liked this girl much more than I expected and I really enjoyed reading her. Keegan is the good girl of the Fritz family, an obstetrician about to finish her residency and who is secretly a romance author, and that's where the author gave me one of my favorite parts of this character because of her constant indecision about the future she wants and her doubts about whether or not it is right to tell her family about her second job, especially when she receives very good news about it. Also, Keegan just broke up with her boyfriend on not very good terms and I loved that Loomis reappears in her life at the perfect time to rekindle all the feelings she has for him.

The attraction and connection between Keegan & Loomis has been there since the previous books and I love that J. Saman gave me a fake dating to make it impossible for these two to keep ignoring their feelings for each other, I really liked that both characters share their reasons for "getting into this relationship" and are vulnerable with each other too. Also, I loved that Loomis falls a little more in love with Keegan when he sees her with Fen, that she loves the little boy immediately and he loves her as well, and when the flirting finally starts, everything becomes even more interesting because Loomis is the funniest and sexiest man in this series and I loved every moment of it. Another thing I loved about this book was the media scandal plot, the way ALL the secondary characters offered their unconditional support to Keegan, but especially to Loomis because he is not part of their circle yet, and the conclusion the author gave to this was completely unexpected for me, plus, it always makes me very happy to read about Tinsley & Loomis's friendship.

I read this book in audio format, and I think that's why I'm so obsessed with this story because both narrators caught me in the story from the first chapters. I'm completely in love with Will Watt's accent, and there couldn't have been anyone better to play Loomis than him, especially during the character's more emotional and complicated moments: this narrator managed to convey all the feelings the hero of the story goes through throughout the book.

I also loved Samantha Brentmoor as Keegan, she gave me all the innocence, sweetness, and strength of this character, especially when the scandal explodes and Keegan puts a stop to Loomis: I fell completely in love with her.

🩵Narradores: Samantha Brentmoor & Will Watt
🍼Narración: 5/5
🌶️: 5/5

Book #6 in Boston Irresistible Billionaires series

Loomis Powell is a sexy famous actor who is hiding out in Boston trying to avoid the press while he figures out his current situation. He’s handsome, tall, and charming. Keegan is a doctor/ romantasy author but not many know she’s an author. She has a little bit of past relationship trauma. These two have intense attraction to each other but have never acted on it.

Overall this was a great book. I really enjoyed the development of the story and characters. Would definitely recommend.

Fresh off a break up, Keegan runs right into Loomis...literally. A broken wrist && finding out Loomis has a secret baby, was not on Keegan's bingo card. Now being forced to take leave from being an OBGYN, Loomis decides to join her on vacation to hide from the press. What could go wrong on their little private island? 🤭

A private island just to themselves, there's no wayyy these two were going to be able to stay away from each other! The way Loomis wanted to protect Keegan was so special 🥰 I loved their love!

When Keegan Fritz accidentally falls outside of a cafe and breaks her wrist, the last thing she planned on happening was running into Loomis Powell - Hollywood Badboy turned single dad. When Keegan’s ex randomly shows up at the same time that Keegan and Loomis run into each other outside the cafe, things take a turn when they decide to start fake dating. When someone gets too close to them, Keegan, Loomis and his son Fen takeoff for an Island off Key West, FL. Between the searing kisses and sheet clutching sessions, this fake relationship is staring to look and feel a bit more real.

Omg! I’ve adored Keegan since the start of this series and I was very curious to see who she would end up with based on what I already knew. While I was a bit shocked it was Loomis, I’m super happy that they were paired together. Loomis is such a great dad and you would’ve never known that he was a “Hollywood Bad boy” just years prior to having his son.

I was provided with an e-arc and an ALC of Undeniably Unexpected by J. Saman and Valentine PR. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book early. It has been one of my favorite series that I’ve read.

I really enjoyed listening to Samantha Brentmoor & Will Watt narrate this story. Will’s accent is so nice and it fits Loomis well. I’m not sure if I’ve ever listened to Will narrate before but I’d love to hear them narrate more. Samantha was amazing as always. They are always one of my favorites to listen to narrate these stories.

Some tropes include forced proximity, fake dating, single dad, secret romance author, doctor x celebrity and found family. Some TWs to look for include stalkerish vibes (not from either MC), an ex that’s bothersome, paparazzi, absence of a parent (MMC), mentions of dr*gs, jail, mentions of terminal canc*r and more. Please check your triggers if possible. Some of this could be triggering. Take care of yourself.
