Review: ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ was Loomis and Keeganโs story and I was not surprised this book almost sky rocketed to my all time favorites by J Saman! Loomis is a surprise single father who โhidesโ in the Florida Keys with none other than Keegan Fritz - a girl who has been pining after him for years! I absolutely adored this book and the way Keegan went on her journey to find out who she was. Her inner struggles in this book resonated so well for me that I wish we had more to read.
Loomis and his son were also a key feature I ate up in ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ . The bonding moments he has with Finn had my heart galloping in the amount of swoon on the page! The way they both fall for the big hearted romance writer in hiding had me wanting to give them all a huge hug since Loomis had so much to overcome before he could realize he was falling in love. His complete support of Keegan was everything to me in this book and I appreciated how Julie was able to bridge the gap they had with the difficulties of the personal lives by showing their absolute love for Loomisโ son!
๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ brought back my favorite MMC to date by Julie - Stone - and I was so happy we see the full circle moment where he accepts Loomis into the fold and takes on his struggles like the Frtiz family does. I also LOVED seeing Vander more in this one and am counting down for his book next!

Samantha and Will were terrific narrators for Keegan and Loomis and I swear there were times where I felt like I was in the room alongside them as they stumbled, laughed and fell into love. The way they both pulled emotion into this audiobook had me giggling at the right moments and blushing in public in others but through it all was the need to never press pause!
Julie really brought these two characters to life with Samatha and Will and I adored how baby Finn was brought to life in my head as I listened to these two draw me into the story a second time. ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ was an audiobook that had you falling in love with the stoic British bad boy and the down to earth, big hearted heroine with all the things we have come to love with Julieโs stories tied in! This is a must listen to audiobook recommendation from me!

I listened to the audiobook for this one and Samantha Brentmoor and Will Watt did a great job bringing Loomis and Keegan to life. This was my first J. Saman book, but I will definitely be going back to check out other books in this series. There was so much to enjoy in this story. I loved that Keegan was successful and confident and didnโt NEED a man. The banter between her and Loomis was top-notch and the closeness of her friends and family was really sweet. During a moment of heartache, Loomisโ mother gave him some really bad advice that he has unfortunately taken to heart all these years. Despite WANTING to open up to Keegan, he is afraid to make himself vulnerable. When the person who is trying to ruin him sets their sights on taking down Keegan as well โ all of his protective instincts come out.

For me personally, an audiobook has to be done really well or it throws off my enjoyment of the entire story. I may love a book in print but if the audio isnโt amazing โ Iโm not going to enjoy it. This audiobook was done really well. The playfulness, banter, sweetness and sexiness of both characters are portrayed so well and I highly recommend the audiobook for this one!

Another great, unexpected story with some twists I did not see coming. One of my favourite things was how one of the characters' jobs was defended. I'm keeping it vague because I don't want to spoil it, but I loved that part!! It is always such a joy to see other characters from this world. I also love the family tree in the book because sometimes I do get confused, so it is a great addition. Also, I'm super excited for the next book as it will be one of my favourite side characters.

Undeniably Unexpected is just as undeniably wonderful as the rest of the series. Saman brings us Keegan and Loomisโ story in the fun and emotional way that she is known for. This book has everything you want in a storylineโฆ. tension, suspense, a fake boyfriend situation, a tropical island, and a whole lot of heat. I loved finally getting read Keeganโs story and watching how a jaded, bad boy canโt help but fall for her and her sometimes quirky behavior. Keegan has been one of my favorite characters, and it may have a little bit to do with this confident physician being a secret vampire romance author.
If you havenโt read the Bostonโs Irresistible Billionaire series, make sure you add it to your list. This series has been such fun to read, and I canโt wait to see what happens in the next one.
