Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

📖 What to expect: Billionaire, Bad boy x good girl, Fake relationship, Single dad, Plus-Sized Doctor FMC, British Celebrity MMC, He falls first
J. Saman really know how to write swoony book boyfriends! This is the 6th book in the Boston Irresistible Billionaires series and can be read as a standalone.
We’ve got a bad boy celebrity who needs to clean up his image and billionaire heiress medical resident who needs to get her ex off her back, getting into a fake relationship. Let’s stick them on a secluded island and ignore the fact that they’re attracted to each other. Everything will be fine, right? 😂
I really enjoyed this book. It has so many of my favourite tropes. Loomis is such an amazing dad, especially considering how fatherhood was just sprung on him. The way he dotes on his son and always puts him first is so heartwarming. And Fenric is such an adorable kid. Together with Keegan, they make such a beautiful family, it’s impossible not to root for them. Keegan is a badass boss babe. Not only is she about to become and Ob-Gyn, she’s secretly a successful romance writer. I also loved that she’s a plus-sized girlie.
I love the emotional depth and character growth in this story. They way they hold each other up and help each other overcome their insecurities. They got great chemistry and the spice was 🔥.
One of my favourite things about this series is the support system the characters have, both blood family and found family and I loved how easily they welcomed Loomis and Fenric into the family. I also enjoyed the mystery/workplace drama subplot.
The narration was phenomenal! I love when Samantha Brentmoor does dual narration because she has an amazing male voice, but I’ve never heard her do a British accent. Every time she voiced Loomis, I melted. I’m going to need more recs where she does a British accent. I also enjoyed her portrayal of Keegan as a strong, supportive, feisty woman. This is only my 2nd Will Watt audio and I’m going to be looking out for more of his work. I really enjoyed his performance. The highlights for me were his portrayal of vulnerable Loomis, and dirty-talking Loomis.
If you’re in the mood for a feel-good story with a swoony hero, emotional depth, steam, and loveable characters, definitely give this one a listen.
I received an advance copy from Valentine PR. These opinions are entirely my own.
I just love this series, the few second generation series I've read this year are just so good and I'm loving every moment of it! Loomis and Keegan run into each other while Loomis is in hiding from the press and well the events of this book snowball from there until these two cuties fall head over heels for each other. I loved their time at the island in the cottage and seeing these two try to ignore their feelings for each other while also being forced to spend a lot of time together but also it gives them time to learn more about each other beyond their pre-existing friendship.
Keegan is a OB resident and a paranormal romance author in secret who is freshly out of a relationship, and then runs into Loomis, and they end up faking dating to get Keegan's old boyfriend to back off. Soon after, Loomis and Keegan go viral when Loomis's secret identity comes out and then they begin to fake their relationship so they can protect Loomis kid. I loved how the drama comes from the secret over who is spilling all of their secrets to the press, making me want a Vander book that much more, and the way it all came out.
Finally, the last thing I loved was the way Keegan became a confident woman and owned all of her secret parts, which just made her become the best FMC character, because she didn't run and hide and instead demanded what she wanted, supported Loomis in his struggles but didn't let him succumb to his fears, which was just the best part of this book hands down!

I loved loved loved this book. From storyline, to main characters, to little Fen and this author's amazing writing style. I was hooked right from the start and just couldn't put it down anymore, I constantly wanted more of these two. This was an easy, fun and cute read and I really enjoyed reading this, I highly recommend this book and this whole series actually, and can't wait to see what's next!
✨ARC REVIEW✨
Undeniably Unexpected is everything I want in a summer read! British single dad, fake dating, forced proximity, and so much steam I had to fan myself. Keegan and Loomis are electric from the start, with banter that made me laugh out loud and emotional moments that completely surprised me.
Keegan is a curvy, quirky OBGYN resident and a secret romance author (relatable queen), and Loomis is the swoony British movie star suddenly juggling fatherhood and fame. When a PR disaster pushes them into a fake relationship, things spiral fast, especially once they’re stuck on a tiny island with his adorable son and a whole lot of unresolved tension.
I loved how Keegan’s struggle to live up to her family's expectations clashed with her hidden creative dreams. And Loomis? His emotional walls, unexpected softness with his son, and low-key dirty mouth? Yeah, I was gone. Their chemistry is insane, but it’s the little moments (Reginald the rooster, anyone?) that really made me fall for them.
What I Loved:
✨ Single dad swoon
✨ Secret romance writer heroine
✨ Forced proximity + fake dating
✨ Keegan’s inner conflict between medicine and writing
✨ Found family & sweet Fen moments
✨ Unexpected kink 👀
✨ “I don’t accept your breakup.” YES, MA’AM.
Keegan and Loomis are both a little lost, a little messy, and undeniably perfect for each other. This one gave me steam, laughs, and feelings, and I already can’t wait for more from this world. Especially Vander. I just know his book is going to wreck me in the best way.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5/5 stars)
🔥 Fake relationship
🔥 Friends to lovers
🔥 Forced proximity
🔥 Single dad
🔥 British grump x sunshine energy
🔥 HEA

Undeniably Unexpected is book six in the Boston's Irresistible Billionaires series. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone, however, this series is amazing, and you absolutely should start from the beginning. Characters from previous books make an appearance, and you'll want to spend as much time with them as possible :) Keegan and Loomis' story has the perfect mix of romance, suspense, and steam.
Things aren't going well for Keegan, and she needs to escape. Loomis is back in town with a secret son and is desperately trying to keep the news hidden. Their solution is to start a fake relationship and go away to a private cottage on an island near the Florida Keys. As they spend more time together, things start to feel real. I adored Keegan and Loomis together! I truly had so much fun witnessing the development of their relationship. Their chemistry was undeniable, and I loved their banter. Loomis is the bad boy who doesn't do relationships, but he fell hard for Keegan, and I loved every second of it. Loomis surprised me so much! Underneath the British bad boy persona, he was sweet, swoony, protective, and supportive. Keegan was vulnerable and allowed Loomis to see he was deserving of love. The moment they decided to stop fighting their feelings was *chef's kiss*. These two were HOT together! The mouth on Loomis had me sweating! They had some things to work through, and both were struggling with what being together would look like once their time away was over, but they approached it all with care and honesty. Loomis as a father made my heart so happy. I loved his connection with his son. Keegan and Lommis' journey to love was fun, sweet, steamy, and beautiful. I love the characters and world J. Saman has created, and I can't wait for the next book.
Narration:
Samantha Brentmoor and Will Watt perform this audiobook in dual-style narration. I loved their performances so much! They were the perfect voices for Keegan and Loomis, and brought the story to life in the best way. Samantha is one of my favorites and can do no wrong. I loved her British accent! This was my first time listening to Will Watt, and I am ready for more. Samantha and Will were phenomenal and made it easy for me to fall in love with these characters.

Is Britain's Romeo and Hollywood's bad boy, Loomis Powell, a dad? Are the rumors true that he's dating one of Boston's elite? And most importantly, does his best friend and co-star, Tinsley Monroe-Fritz, approve of this new woman? Will this story have a Hollywood ending, or will it be a disaster?
For these answers and more, you need to read Undeniably Unexpected by J. Saman. But be warned, it's not just a romance; it's a sizzling, hot, and spicy read!

"One moment. The blink of an eye. And then something undeniably unexpected comes along and changes your life, and you’ll never be the same again."
Wow. That was so good. This book is so good. A very great cleansing palate for me after reading 5 books of mafia/dark romance back to back.
I loved how well communicated the MCs were. Loomis and Keegan were openly discussing their feelings when the hard times came. That was I expected when the MCs were in their late twenties and early thirties. I hate miscommunication, hence it was so satisfying to read when Loomis and Keegan could talk to each other with whatever bothered them.
This book is the sixth book from this series, there were so many side characters from previous books from this series and other series written by this author. However, it didn't overwhelmed me at all and for me, this book completely can read as standalone. I definitely would read other books from this series and other books outside this series from this author. I tasted the yummy writing of J. Saman and I would definitely not stopping with this book. The writing were so good. It was light and engaging. I couldn't stop reading until the reality caught up.
The plots were so good. For me the little touch of suspense made this book perfect. I really had a great reading experience with this book.
Thank you to J. Saman and Valentine PR for the ARC.

For the sixth time, J. Saman has completely knocked me off my feet—again. Undeniably Unexpected: A Single Dad Fake Relationship Romance, the latest heart-melting, heat-filled instalment in her Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series, is anything but a surprise in terms of its brilliance. At this point, we expect nothing less than exceptional from Ms Saman—and wow, does she deliver.
From the synopsis alone, you're already sold. A brooding, British Hollywood heartthrob with bad-boy vibes? Check. A sweet, smart, secretly swooning doctor from a Boston legacy family? Check. Throw in a surprise son, a fake relationship getaway to a secluded island, and enough steam to fog up your Kindle, and you’ve got a recipe for unputdownable perfection.
Loomis Powell and Dr. Keegan Fritz have circled each other for years, stuck in the “just friends” lane thanks to mutual friends and unspoken crushes. But when Keegan is reeling from a breakup (with an ex who just won’t quit) and Loomis is trying to shield his new role as a father from the press, fate throws them into a fake relationship retreat in the Florida Keys.
And from there? Magic.
Loomis may not have planned on being a dad, but watching him fall into fatherhood is heartwarming and heartbreakingly beautiful. His rough London childhood explains his no-relationship rule, but Keegan has always stirred something deeper in him—and in this tropical hideaway, those buried feelings erupt into sizzling chemistry. J. Saman doesn’t just give you heat—she gives it meaning. Every steamy moment adds weight to their emotional journey, pulling you deeper into their love story.
Keegan is everything you want in a heroine: strong, nurturing, selfless (sometimes to a fault), and incredibly relatable. And as always, Saman’s trademark mix of family dynamics, suspenseful twists, and emotional punch elevates the romance even further. Watching Loomis, Keegan, and his son become a beautiful little unit is simply unforgettable—but of course, no story is without obstacles, and someone isn’t happy about their budding happiness.
The danger is real, the feelings are raw, and the HEA? Absolutely flawless.
If you’re not in love with Loomis Powell by the final page, I dare say you need to reread it—because this man is EVERYTHING. J. Saman proves once again why she reigns supreme in the world of romance, and Undeniably Unexpected is one of her most emotionally satisfying and deliciously swoony stories yet.
Want more like this?
You’ll probably love Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires, fake relationship tropes done right, or swoon-worthy single dads in romance. And if you adore J. Saman’s signature mix of heartfelt emotion, heat, and compelling characters, be sure to check out authors like Melanie Harlow, Pippa Grant, Claire Kingsley, Corinne Michaels, and Kayley Loring—they serve up the same delicious combo of smart heroines, irresistible heroes, and all the feels.

Single dad / fake dating / billionaire / playboy? I was IN on Loomis and Keegan’s story!
THOUGHTS 💭
🐓 I love that Loomis wants to be a better father for his son than his own father was to him. The fact that he WANTS that already makes him a great father.
🐓 Loomis’ past affects who he is and how he protects himself. He has never dated anyone and has avoided love like the plague and, because of this, his character was emotionally inexperienced/a bit frustrating at times.
🐓 Keegan is a next-level FMC. She’s a literal doctor AND writes romance books “on the side”?! I want to be her.
🐓 I love British MMCs - the accent/vocab and mannerisms? 🫠
🐓 Keegan’s bird aversion is SO freaking relatable.
🐓 I love how supportive the Fritz family is of each other! And fun, sassy, spirited grandmas like Octavia Abbott-Fritz are my kryptonite.
🐓 My goodness, when Loomis falls for the first time, he REALLY falls. He has some of the mostly wonderfully romantic lines.
Thanks so much to J. Saman and Valentine PR for the ARC of this book!

𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐔𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 is the 6th book in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series by J. Saman, featuring an irresistible single dad, fake relationship romance for Keegan and Loomis! I mean, its got a Hollywood Bad Boy with a baby dropped in his lap and Keegan Fritz, Billionaire heiress doctor who writes spicy paranormal romance on the side! What more could we want, right?! I was riveted to the pages by the authentic emotion that flowed throughout and the chemistry sparked to life! When you add in the drama and suspense, an adorable baby, as well as the fun and support that the Fritz family always bring to the table, it’s a guaranteed must-read! I found myself laughing, blushing, swooning, worrying, and even tearing up, which is a successful reading session in my book! I loved Loomis and Keegan together, and the way they brought out the best in each other. Both of them with little Fenric was sweetness personified, and I can’t say enough about the world building in this series, and the top notch found family vibe among all these characters! The twists and turns were fun to follow, and I was glad to be surprised in the end I can’t wait for more of Vander, though! He definitely has me intrigued!
I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
