There wasn't much romance in this romance. It was more of a thriller/horror main course, and then a romance peppermint at the end for dessert. I think we didn't even meet the love interest until chapter 11 or so, and then we didn't even see her reaction or experience to falling in love. I don't think she even loves him, she just sees him as her least bad option. She never really clarifies any of her thoughts or feelings in regard to him. It was just trauma, trauma, trauma, trauma, small cut scene of relationship building, then *BOOM* relationship's built apparently.

Thoughts: LOVED this one. Interested in learning what happens to Etaine.

I felt too long was spent before she met Simin. We spend almost half the book with the other Alpha's, I would have liked this part of the book to have been briefer and possibly filled in on what events took place there by her relating it to Simin in her 'courting'

Very enjoyable telling of the omegaverse. I really enjoyed the take of the 1st half of the story before Morgaine meets Simin because it's unique in the genre. If you enjoy Omegaverse stories, this is a good one!

Well this was disturbing... It actually blows my mind that anyone could and DID give this 5 stars.
