Definitely not my favorite Agatha Christie book. This was my third time trying to read it and I finally got past the first chapter. I don’t know why it was so hard for me to get into this book. I can’t stand how everyone described the little girl - nasty and a liar and ugly. I’m sure it’s just a product of the time, but their descriptions were SO unnecessary and also just cruel about a LITTLE GIRL. The plot was also incredibly jerky, and the conversations/dialogue were very stilted and jerky, too - just no great flow. I love Agatha but this one just didn’t do it for me.
