I listened to the BBC Audio dramatization of this…SO GOOD.

Anyway. I loved a good Agatha Christie…and this was a good Agatha Christie. This one was much darker than some of her others, but still just as interesting to “read.” We love Hercule Poirot, we love Ariadne Oliver, we love the twists and the way the threads come together. It reminded me of an episode of Midsomer Murders, which is probably my favorite TV show: cozy and quaint and amusing yet somehow so twisted at the same time.

Definitely worth a read if you’re into mystery…and especially good for spooky season.

I absolutely one hundred percent predicted that the murderer was mrs drake and i feel cool about it
