It isn't often that I say the movie was better than the book, but A Haunting in Venice was a LOT better than this.

But then, A Haunting in Venice bears little to no resemblance to this plotline. A couple of character names are the same, and there is a bobbing for apples scene, and a Halloween party takes place, but that's about it. Not one of Christie's better efforts in my view.

I’ve definitely read this AC story before! But I misremembered the murderer, so it was nice to refresh my memory. I think this is a unique tale from the Dame and perfect for spooky season.

Way too many characters. Not very interesting, maybe it was the style of her writing, but now I know.

DON’T read this if you want it to be anything like the movie. It’s not. Still good though.

A maior parte foi entediante, mas o final foi consideravelmente bom
