I was interested in the murder and who done it. Not necessarily the most developed characters, which is a fav of mine, but it was a quick, fun classic mystery.
This edition is the "movie tie-in" version, but it is wholly the original book by Christie. The movie seems very different. I thought this was fun to read; I am not a big mystery person but the genre is growing on me!

Just not the vibe right now, will pick up again
I am a bit surprised at my disappointment in this. Christie seems to have gone far out of her way to complicate this mystery by laying down a rug of complex characters. I suppose I'm a bit mad that really parts of the mystery are written so well bringing Poirot to unveil so much of himself.
