I admit I skipped over a fair amount of this book. I thought he brothers story was very powerful though.

To be honest, this book was a bit boring to begin with. Thankfully, the story picked up partway through! It was nice to revisit some familiar characters years later though!

Imagine Mississippi in the 1980's, a very sick, very rich man leaves a fortune to his black housekeeper, cutting out his children. From then on the lawyers and vultures begin to gather. This is a brilliant sequel to Grisham's very first novel set in the same town, with all its prejudices and race hatred. Grisham's novels have been a bit hit and miss lately, but he comes back with a stonking great read with this one. Must say it doesn't say much for American lawyers and the justice system, but is it much different in the UK? Has it improved in the states? Would hope so!

Typical Grisham.
Perfectly set up, many possible differ directions.
Gripping right to the end

Bellino. A tratti un pelino noiosetto e ripetitivo.

I am a huge John Grisham fan, so naturally I was really excited for the second in the Time to Kill series. I really enjoyed this book and the storyline. The ending was awesome, typical Grisham ending. I just really loved this book.

Grisham seldom fails...This may be one of my favorites of his so far!
