You know when you finnish a book and you cant wipe a big old grin off your face while simultaneously there is a tear rolling down your cheek, yeah thats how i was when i finished this book a wee 2 miniuts ago. I laughed, I shed a tear, i was giddy and kicking my feet. Pretty much all i could want from a book, non the less a Post-Apocalyptic book. My first ever Apocalypse book that i have read but i am firmly enthralled by it. I had the walking dead playing in the back ground while i read this work of art and it only heightened my experience. I read this book in less than 12 hours, it is currently 4:41 am and i started this book at 3 pm YESTERDAY. i felt no need to go on my phone the entire time i was so locked in from the first sentence
I really like how this book portrayed the "end of the world" I loved how it was political and showed the dangers of being in the minority party during such a dangerous and vulnerable time. The main characters are extremely likable, loving the dule pov's. I truly felt like i was in there showes through the pain and sadness and fear. and oh boy did this book frighten me. Andrew and Jamison warmed my frozen heart, and long with the unforetold friends that were made along the way.

postacie bez wyrazu, za 2 dni o nich zapomnę bo były aż tak drętwe, ale tez postacie pojawiające się na chwili aby zaraz zniknąć, po to żeby tylko były
styl pisania jak na wattapadzie
brak jakiegokolwiek wyjaśnienia jak działa ta choroba ok i get it, to SUPERGRYPA, ale może coś więcej??? nie??

OMG this was amazing! I came from a very bad read before this and this totally blew me away!! I literally finished it in less than a day and cried ugly tears for an hour straight at the end.
This is a very real post-apocalypse romance between Jamie and Andrew who have lost everything and kinda find comfort in each other. The pacing is amazing. There is action and suspense but also quiet moments for character development and it just flows seamlessly. I was never once bored while reading.
The characters on their own are great! I loved them. They have both been through A LOT of trauma, but they have not been broken by it. They are still sweet and care and crack jokes. And it’s even better how they lift each other up and support one another throughout the story.
The romance is also perfectly developed. The characters have such chemistry right from the get go and you can really feel their bond growing. The perfect slow burn - no stupid misunderstandings or miscommunication plots.

I really enjoyed is book and this book make me want pick Erik J. Brown other books also I think people who are fans of together in a broken world by Paul Michael Winters or more than this by Patrick Ness may like is book. The writing was okay but nothing great and the writing was easy to follow also the ending of book was brilliant. The atmosphere was pretty good and I like the romance but I would have like it to flash out bit more also both the world building and LGBTIQQ representation was well done. The paced of plot was well structured and steady paced. The characters was okay and some of them needed to flash out bit more.
