I loved seeing a softer side of Abel and the way he loved Sloane and the kids. I really do love this little town and the families. Her ex and Abel’s dad both deserve to get what they deserve! Ugh. Can’t wait to see what next book has in store for me!
I'm going to try and read this book again. For now I'm going to rate it 2 stars.

I am convinced Lena never misses!! This was swoon worthy perfection!! Abel and Sloan had the most amazing banter the best grumpy x sunshine vibes!! It was so hard not to smile throughout this entire book!! Abel completely broke my heart with his story and how he always felt like an outsider. I loved the easy and playful way Sloan was around Abel. This man was so protective and the way he turned to goo for Sloan and the kids just made me melt!! And he bakes!! Then throw in all the "My Wife" moments and I don't think he could be anymore perfect?? I laughed, I cried, I swooned!!
AUDIO: This was narrated by Sean Crisden and Ava Erickson and it was great!! Ava was perfect for Sloan's bubbly personality and Sean nailed the grumpiness of Abel. They played off each other so well! I really enjoyed this one!
