This is such a great and moving work. The language is beautiful and the characters feel extremely real. I wish the story didn’t end when it did. I wanted to keep reading. I do believe there is a sequel or a companion novel that I’m going to get my hands on soon.

An incredibly moving story. Everyone needs to read this.

This book was written more than 20 years ago today, yet it still remains as relevant as ever. Although I was surprised to find If You Come Softly was under 200 pages, that failed to hinder the book’s impact on me. The ending destroyed me.
