It was a nice read, but the ending made me sad
i love jeremiah and ellie so much. i am usually not a fan of instagram-love but they are both so earnest and are feel so deeply i was rooting for them all the way through. that ending though. :( beautiful prose for a beautiful novel.
A little too short for my taste however was an amazing story, very cute and heartrending.
I don’t actually know how i feel about this novel. It’s beautifully written and tells a very important message but i didn’t really connect to either character. This may be because of how short the story was or how little we were actually told throughout it. I did enjoy the family dynamics and Nelia was really cool but thats about it.

I should have expected the ending knowing that it’s a retelling of Romeo and Juliet but it still got me… too sad and too sad that it’s still so relevant.
