I love Rozakis. This is a highly entertaining story of moms and magical beings grounded in contemporary issues of privilege and identity.

It had it's funny moments but also nice family moments. I feel like the Vivian and Daniel had a great marriage but I really wish she had listened to Aria more. Kids know things. All together a nice cozy fantasy.

Cute book- fairly quick read.

Nice mix of magic fantasy, school/parent drama and a little mystery as you try and figure out what the heck is taking place at the school.

I like that it’s a standalone book as well! So a good one for tossing in between series reads for a genre buffer or mindset reset.

Most of this book feels like miscommunication between Vivian and her husband, Daniel. She refuses to talk to him and he's dismissive and it was the part of the book I liked the least. Beyond that it was enjoyable. Reminiscent of The Hive by Gill Hornby and Class Mom by Laurie Gelman but with vampires, selkies and sirens.
