The Architect was a hot MFM that I enjoyed a lot. I loved watching the dynamic between Clay, Lilith and Travis and loved seeing their relationship grow throughout the story. I loved that Lilith was able to tell them both what she needed. The audiobook was performed in duet by Angelina Rocca and Brennan Landry and told from Lilith’ point of view. I enjoyed both of their performances.

The Architect follows Lilith, a strong, confident, smart 26-year old who doesn’t believe she can fall in love, and who’s not afraid to make the first move. She meets her older neighbor Clay and they negotiate an agreement to bring them both pleasure, but no feelings. Clay’s job as you guessed it, as an architect, has him traveling a lot and so he introduces Lilith to Travis. The rules are clear, they aren’t allowed to exchange names, no contact outside of their scenes, no feelings. The arrangement with Travis for a time all goes well. Until it doesn’t. People catch feelings and lack of open communication threats to destroy everything.
I personally really liked Travis. He’s humble yet dominant. He’s smart and isn’t afraid to share what he’s feeling. Part of me wished he stood up to Clay more, but I enjoyed their relationship just as much as their relationship with Lilith.
I had a harder time being in Clay’s corner. His past relationship made him jumpy and standoffish at times, but as the older of the three, and the more experienced one in the world of BDSM, I found some of his actions concerning. That said, I understood where he was coming from and why he did some of what he did, even if I didn’t like it. He’s human and attempting to protect himself and his partner from mistakes that were made in his previous partnership.
I fell for Nikki Sloane about 5 years ago when I happened to pick up Three Simple Rules. Her interesting characters and hot as heck writing style immediately drew me in. Her books are on the top of my recommendation list for anyone looking for steamy suggestions. The Architect didn’t disappoint me. I went into the book without reading the other 2 in the series and I was able to follow everything.
The Architect is scorching hot! A fast read that I don’t recommend you enjoy in an airport unless you’re into that sort of thing. Clay, Lilith, and Travis complement each other very well and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

After how good "The pool boy" was, I thought she would deliver with this one.... unfortunately, I just finished this book, and I couldn't tell u the Fmc's name...

Convincing him that he should keep the cat and that she'll help care for it too. Attracted to Clay she sits snakes waiting for him to return home after a business trip and throws his plans into a spin. Embarking on a hot fling he introduces her to a BDSM club where CLay confesses he likes to watch. Leading her to enjoy a hot encounter with a mystery man, directed and watched by Clay.
Travelling for work they have to ensure time apart until Clay comes up with a plan to keep them satisfied despite the miles. Enter the mystery man from the club (Mr E aka Travis) who is there to perform all the sexual activities to Lilith that Clay wants whilst he watches via Skype. Attraction blooms between Lilith and Travis which bubbles over after their sessions with Clay. A threeway relationship of sorts forms between them leading to an amazing and very steamy session together. However, it was only a temporary arrangement, right? This can't work in the long term, can it?
