Another great vacation or summer read that will entertain and move you. The story of a little black dress and how it impacts the lives of nine different women will captivate readers with its humor and descriptions of finding true love.
A very cute story. Told from many perspectives with a few threads that continued through the entire book.
Audiobook - couldn't stop listening. So fascinating how the dress intertwined the lives of all the characters. Only sad part is that I wanted to know more about their futures!
This was truly a delightful novel, which was exactly the heartwarming, light-hearted read I craved after my last book. The style of this was reminiscent of one of my favorite movies, Love Actually. I listened on audio and really appreciated the different narrators and how their voices were the perfect representation of each of their characters. I’d definitely recommend if you want a fun, entertaining novel with quite a few “Hallmark ending” for its cast of sweet characters.
A very pleasant read that gives you snapshots of the lives of several different women, all impacted by one dress.

This book is a light-weight for sure. It's a series of vignettes told from different perspectives that are loosely tied together by their inclusion of a specific little black dress. Some of the stories are less cringe-y than others, but none of them have any emotional impact. The worst story focuses on a "hilarious" farce where a woman thinks her best friend is gay, but he isn't, and he's in love with he, but can't figure out why he keeps getting friend-zoned. It's really, really, REALLY tiresome. And all this is before we get to the climactic (?) story where

a woman wearing "The Dress" is hit by a car and is buried in it, and then the embalmer takes it off of her and gives it to his girlfriend as a gift, who breaks out in a rash after wearing it because it's covered in formaldehyde from the corpse it was on. Jesus.
A delightful, witty and enjoyable book that I didn't want to put down. Yes, the little black dress is MAGIC!
I just don't read romance. Cute premise around the year's hottest dress with Bloomingdale's NY as the setting. A lot of characters- kind of like those Marshall rom-coms like Valentine's Day or New Year's.
Good story. Got sucked into a couple of them at the beginning so by the end I was less interested in the new characters. Overall I'd recommend.
