This is a light hearted feel good book that tells the stories of a bunch of New York women who all end up wearing the “it dress” of the season. The sense of place is strong here, so you feel like a New Yorker as scenes take place on the High Line, Bloomingdale’s and Broadway to name a few. At times the characters had very questionable behavior, but they usually found their way back to being good folks. So there was a lot of good here. However… I dislike novels that have sooo many characters. And while most reappear throughout the book, sometimes they do not. I feel like I’m being dropped in a new short story with every chapter and I don’t appreciate the lack of continuity. I probably shouldn’t have picked this one up, because that narrative style was clear from just the title. I did listen to this one on audiobook, and it was performed with a bunch of different voice actors who did a fabulous job. Without them making this interesting, I might have dropped it. But it was short and fun and kept me entertained for 7 hours.
Follow the season's little black dress as it goes from designer to runway model to Bloomingdale's and everywhere in between. The focus is on nine women and how the dress changes their life in some way.
A fun romance story with multiple different perspectives. Satisfying endings all around!

Nine Women, One Dress is essentially a cross between The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Love Actually. The readers gets a glimpse into the intersecting lives of a handful of New Yorkers, all connected by a designer little black dress. It involved a little too much infidelity for my taste, but overall is it a sweet, lighthearted story about love and the situations that bring people together. A perfect book for the beach!
Fun read. It ended too soon! I want to read more ......

Fun amalgamation of several story threads woven together because of the presence on a specific little block dress. Charming storytelling parceled out in small segments throughout the book.
This was a short and simple read. Given the title, I thought the story would only be told from the POVs of the nine women, but that wasn't the case. This hindered my enjoyment because I found myself forgetting which character was narrating at certain points. Also, some of the other POVs should have been developed more or excluded all together because their stories were miniscule.

For all my Monroe's girls, this is a book that touches the heart of anyone who has ever helped people pick out the perfect special occasion dresses. A quick, thoroughly enjoyable read. I had fully intended to pass this book along to another friend from my dress shop but now that I'm finished, I want to hang into it and spend some more time with all the characters I've fallen in love with in the last week. I am delighted that a great friend thought of me and knew that as a former dress shop manager, I'd love these tales about the perfect dress. Albert ended up being my favorite character. I'll let you discover why for yourself.
This was a fun, quick read. I enjoyed catching a glimpse into the lives of several people who this dress affected. Through the authors descriptions of characters you easily fall in love with some and despise others and become interested in the outcome of each story. *Contains cheating on spouses.
Fun, quick read. Great for a beach or plane ride, light chick lit. I liked it a lot.
