Absolutely loved this book and the characters. With a plot you can really sink your teeth into. With characters that you shouldn't like as much as you do.

A little long (408 pages) but it was really good. It wasn't just about the two main characters, you got to find out about some of the other Dark-Hunters.

This is a story that has stuck with me since I read it about a year ago. Talon is a motorcycle riding Celtic god and Sunshine is an artist with a hidden past. These two characters have a shocking tale to tell. I know that I never in a million years expected what would happen between the two of them. I have a never ending fascination with vampires and the many worlds that authors like to create around them. The Dark-Hunters are very close to the world of vampires, and let me tell you the Dark-Hunter world is by far one of my favorites. The women hold the only chance that the warriors have of getting their souls back. Now isn’t that amazing, the women hold the power!
“Night Embrace” is the third book in the series and true, some of the characters and story carry over into this novel but you could if you wanted to read this book as a standalone. But as you now know it is part of a series and the best place to start would be with “Fantasy Lover” the first book.
I loved the setting of this book, the swamps of New Orleans. Not to mention the not so friendly neighborhood crocodile. Hahaha now there is a character! Talon had me from the first page, Sunshine has many quirks and took a little getting used to, but once I saw her for the beautiful woman she is I completely fell in love with this couple. With an ending that any romantic action reader would be more than happy with this is a perfect book for all of you paranormal romance fans out there!

Well, what I said about Night Pleasures seemed to work quite well here, too: Naughty Children.
I liked Talon, too.
And all the things with Ash confuse me (Artemis is supposed to be a virgin for all eternity, as far as I know, but their whole business together is making me confused), and I hope he's going to have some happiness soon. Gods know he deserves as much.
Zerek was actually awesome. In a psychotic kind of way.
Sunshine was funny. I like her personality and frankness.
And Amanda and Kyrin got their first baby! Yay! :D
