This book felt really slow and I had a hard time getting it. It felt much different than the previous three books. A lot more detail and a lot less action.
The setup seemed to take way more time than the actual mission and it just seemed *too easy* and it's starting to feel a bit repetitive.
I really hope the next books redeem it because the cliffhanger was not at all what I expected

This really felt like an in-betweener type of book, meaning there's not a lot going on in this book and you feel as if you just want to get through it. As far as plot goes the story felt rushed and anticlimactic. Still, Michael Vey is a fun read and I'm still looking forward to the next books. It was fun to see one of the old characters come back. Redemption is always appealing.
