Damn this was so good.
Loved seeing more of Max, Quinn, and Anna.
And holy shit I have so many thoughts and feelings and theories I’m losing my mind.

This book would have been more enjoyable if read in tandem with The Hourglass Throne, or if it were just part of that book completely. But I love Max and Quinn, and maybe it was all worth it for the surprise twist.

Full review TK, however, as someone who's been a fan of this series from the beginning, the insight this book (novella?) brings is eyeopening and gives me the feeling The Last Sun always has: excitement for what comes next.
