Neither of the sequels held a candle to the first book. It wasn't even really close. I loved the well-developed multi-faceted characters, and I like the idea of following up on the trauma that comes with being cursed by a sorceress for an eternity and dealing with having that curse broken. But this wasn't what I had in mind. I don't even know why these sequels needed to exist given how self-contained book one was.
I have loved this world in so many ways, however this book felt very crammed with actually not much happening until the end,I feel 4 points of view was far too much for one small book, the ending was pretty predictable and I think losing a character that was more invested would have been a better choice, still enjoyed it but I think especially compared to book 1 this was a bit of a let down

This was the best book of the trilogy by farrrr. The twists, the character development, the heartbreak. Loved it so much. A great ending to the series although I would’ve loved an epilogue showing everyone in a few months or years time after the events of this book. Just some more closure ya know?
I didn’t quite like how at the end everyone was apparently fine (iykyk), I get it’s a YA book but still felt a bit unbelievable. Either way, the series as a whole gets a 3.5. Definitely a fun read overall.

2,5 stars because why how what who. It feels a bit unfinished, and some characters definitely did not get the redemption or development they deserved. Bit of a disappointing conclusion to the trilogy
