This books was something that i bought when i first started my book collection, and overall i thought that the book was okay, not good but also not bad.
Good points:
- i personally liked the detail that the book went into about the deaths, in that an added a more emotional aspect to Anna and the possible redeption.

Bad points:
- the romance i just didn't understand. it went from 'i'm going to kill the bitch' to 'I'm in love with her' and there was no build up.
- I personally found the plot very predictable
- I also was not a fan of the side characters

All in all, the book was Okay and enjoyable but nothing special.

I really enjoyed the first 100 pages, but then things got weird. Personally I am not the biggest fan of the direction this book took. I was wanting more of a ghost story. Not just a story involving a ghost. Unfortunately I most likely will not be continuing on.

It was pretty good, overall. I like the way the author described the ghosts in this book. The characters were good, and the story was fast-paced. While It wasn´t the best book I´ve ever read, It was good enough. 4 stars.

When I picked up Anna Dressed In Blood I didn't expect it to become one of my favourite books of all time. But it is.

Cas is a ghostbuster. There, I said it. And when I started to read about Anna and her story, I was spooked. And curious. Anna became on of my favourite characters and Cas' mysterious ability to not be killed by her also made me want to learn more about him.

This book has great plot, setting and backstory! Although, it's a little bit scary in the beginning, it only adds to the flavour of the story.

I personally love this book I bought it yesterday and immediately I fell in love with it and I finished it TODAY! That's how good it is, I love how Anna's character is profiled in bits and pieces and Blake wants us to see the horrid side of her and when we finally see her this whole new picture of her is painted and I personally love Cas and Anna's character developments, this book is amazing and totally work the read

*sighs* well, I'm finally done with this book.
So when I started this book, for the first 50 pages or so I was bored. after that It pretty interesting for a while. I was breezing through it, impressed with the writing and overall thinking this will make a good Book. It wasn't afraid to go full gore and it was pretty well written. But then all of the sudden it started to get a little boring, and then it's like I slammed into a wall. I don't think I picked this up for like a month in a half for more than a couple pages here and there. I was debating on not finishing it actually. But I couldn't exactly place what it was that was making me uninterested in this book anymore.
Finally today I decided to look up the audio book to this and ended up finishing the book that way. At first it was still uninteresting. But it quickly picked up. However listening to the audio made me realize some problems in the book that I didn't notice that I had with some characters and right where I started was right before...
Spoiler Cas realizes he's in love with Anna. Their relationship previously so far in the book made me a little happy they were kinda taking it slow, even though the synopsis indicates there will be some romance. It was almost an out of no where and insta love vibe, which I didn't like. They spent two months together, but it went from 0 to 50 in record time
.
The execution for the gore was pretty well. At some points it kinda seems like the author is trying to jab gore down your throat, but overall I was impressed.
The spoiler I mentioned and when it got pretty boring are the reasons I gave a couple stars off. But I think it was the audio book that made me want to continue to the next one. Its not a big book anyway. Should be fine...right?

I feel kind of back and forth about this book. It was quick to get through and it had an interesting premise. Honestly, horror stories aren't my usual genre, but I saw a lot of buzz about this book and decided to check it out.

I think was sort of confused me was that the book seemed to be written in a very YA way, but there was a lot of swearing and gore. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind these things, I curse like no one's business and it's nice to see other (even fictional) people do it too. If I was hunting ghosts, I sure as hell would be dropping the F bomb all the time. It just felt like an odd juxtaposition if you know what I mean.

As for the characters, they were fine. I'm glad I didn't have to spend countless hours hearing about interactions that weren't really important. I appreciated that this book got right into the meat of the story and let us figure out the characters from there. It made people like Cas and Carmel (who were ridiculous in the beginning) much more well rounded and likeable.

All in all, I do like a book that ends with a good cliffhanger. Not every story should end with everything working out. Where's the fun in that?

This book was Ridiculous. Really. The premise was super...ghost hunter, decades-old unsolved murder of a teenage girl, etc. But come on...the ghost's dresses begin to fight each other in one memorable scene. Having said that, I'm sure I'll read the next one...
