Skim-read the majority of this one.
Ciri tells her story to the hermit, Geralt is still looking for Ciri, and we learn something about Yennefer -- not much, but a bit at least. I don't really care - personally - for all the other weird people engrossed in politics and factions. Even when only skim-reading it, I got the gist of it.
I again found it interesting, how Sapkowski relays action through dialogue and hear-say. But I would've preferred this book to be more focussed and a bit less enigmatic. I know it's the style of the series, but it's super annoying, I still don't know where it's going.
3 Stars because some things Ciri did were super epic.

Muy interesante la forma de contarlo aunque a veces un poco confusa.

I’m a “Baptism of Fire” girl, not gonna lie. I prefer the pacing and writing in the deep build-up books, compared to this one where things happen. A lot of the plot elements seem unnecessary, a whole bunch of characters exist simply to be killed off eventually, the shifting timelines make the book feel distracting and disjointed. It’s still good but it’s not what I love The Witcher series most for.
After the worldbuilding that was Baptism of Fire, we finally get more plot - and a lot of it; the writing style is also still great. The big minus for me with this book is that it jumps between POVs a lot, which makes it difficult to follow the timeline sometimes. Apart from that, I don't have complains.
