The Sunscreen Song, Ancient Greek edition. Oxford University Press clears as always.

My rating on this is a bit arbitrary. I'm a big lover of Greek myth, so I enjoyed it for that reason, but I was also struck by the similarity to the Bible: the numerous genealogies, random rules like "Do not make water as you go on the road" and "Never put the ladle upon the mixing bowl at a wine party, for malignant luck is attached to that." Thanks Hesiod, that explains all my misfortune, it's that bloody lade from my wine mixing bowl!

The writing style is typically hard to read but very interesting historical works. Theogony is definitely the better book.

While this is a classic and wildly interesting in terms of history, some of the misogynistic tones left a bad taste in my mouth. I completely understand that that’s what life was like in this time period but I certainly don’t have to like it.
Pairing this with another epic that’s very different, like Homer’s Odyssey is super interesting. You get to see two different types of ancient epics.
Wildly interesting, hard to read in the style it is, but overall good
