I found myself exasperated with the main character on more than one occasion, though she is young and I do feel it is realistic on a lot of levels. I was surprised more didn’t happen in the book? But I think that may just be a skewed perspective from recent back to back thrillers. Something about it kept me reading despite the flaws in the writing. You do get answers/resolution which I appreciate, even though I do feel like the way they’re presented felt a bit abrupt and predictable.

Didn’t expect much when I saw the rating but I changed my mind towards the end. The main character annoyed me almost all the way through with her action, her way of thinking but when it was revealed what happened to her and I remembered her age, it made sense and made me reflect on how we will misconstrue some people’s behaviours and characters if we don’t know their history. I know a good book is when I got too emotionally invested and had to actually put it down foe a breather because I couldn’t just continue. I needed the space to prepare myself.

What a read!!

I can say I didn't like this chick! But you can't fault her, she is only 19!! But she did alot of things wrong! But all her wrongs helped her save 2 kids!

The book was soo good!!! Loved it from beginning to end!!

Really enjoyed this, read it in a few days. Found myself rooting for the character and her situation. Quite a few twists and didn’t guess the ending completely.
