How could I give this anything but 5 stars? Everyone I know has been raving about this and I can totally see why - it's definitely one of the best romance's I've ever read. The university setting and focus on hockey reminded me a lot of the off campus series but this was a level above that. I absolutely fell in love with Anastasia pretty much immediately, she's so stubborn and funny and passionate about achieving her dreams of being a figure skater. I loved Nathan from the start too - he's the captain of the hockey team but has a heart of gold. He's so caring towards everyone on his team and I loved the focus on friendship that was in the book.

The romance between Anastasia and Nathan was insane. The rivals to lovers dynamic was everything and it was so well executed too! They had a genuine reason to not get on initially and they way everything developed happened so naturally. The chemistry between them was genuinely palpable and I loved every minute of it. My favourite think about thier relationship, and probably the whole book, was how they communicated! They were basically the opposite of the miscommunication trope and really took the time to understand eachother and what they were going through. It was so nice to see that because it's lacking so much in a lot of romance books.
