For the whole book I was so confused on who was committing these murders and then Kosuke made one observation, and it all slipped into place. I’ve never felt so stupid in my life but what an experience.

Good introduction into Japanese mystery, enjoyed that it was in an era away from electronic technology and it was not fussy.

Unsure if the writing or the translation which was clumsy but I ended up glazing over half pages of filler text. The whole book could have been 2/3rds as long.
