Part 2 of the Play Me serial has me a bit nervous. There is definitely a power play at work here. As much as Sebastian and Aria are having a consensual relationship, Sebastian is still Aria's boss. She still fears for her job a bit, and the resultant power Sebastian has over her professionally and sexually made me slightly uncomfortable.

Their relationship is definitely one that is getting hot and heavy, and Wolff does a great job at igniting the story on fire in this second installation. The feelings they have for each other are certainly strong and hard-hitting.

I'm still interested in seeing where they go from here.

Play Me Hot is the second installment in the Play Me series. It literally pick up right where Play Me Wild leaves off.

We learn a little bit more about Aria and Sebastian in this novella. Not only that, but they have some very hot sex. I am not exactly sure if this book would be characterized as BDSM, but there is definitely a dom/sub thing going on. Sebastian says he wants to teach Aria how to be in control of her life, and he plans to do that in the bedroom.

Aria has obviously suffered in the past, and that is where her don't mess with me attitude comes from. Aria is a little messed up after she and Sebastian's intense sexual encounter and she suffers from what Sebastian calls subdrop. I had never heard of this before, but I looked it up and apparently it is something a sub suffers from after an intense sexual encounter, or quite a few of them. I have read other reviews that this term was used incorrectly, but from what I read about it, it was exactly what Aria was experiencing. Sebastian and Aria obviously have an intense connection and you definitely experience that in this book.

Once again the book just ends. I honestly can say I don't get serials like this. That was the only thing that is bothering me about this series so far. Good news is, these books do all release on the same day, as far as I know.

4 stars!

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks netgalley for a free book in exchange for a review. Play me hot is such a good title for this installment. Rawr! I felt the heat from these erotic scenes! In this part Sebatien and Aria develop a relationship pretty quickly, and the chemistry is explosive. The cover on this one is amazing. Overall entertainment is five stars.

This was okay but I’m not sure if this series is quite my taste. I jumped in to reading this really quickly and didn’t know what it was about.
The relationship is developing really quickly and yes these are very short stories but I would prefer if it wasn’t so insta-love.
This is also my first encounter with a story involving BDSM so it is quite possible that this is something that happens frequently but when Sebastian was talking about *spoilers* Aria going in and out of the “sub-state” and then at the end where the state was effecting her in such a negative and deteriorating way, it was just not very believable to me but again this is my first time reading a book featuring BDSM.

There is a reason that this part of this series is called Play Me Hot - because it is incredibly hot! This whole installment is one hot, steamy, sexy scene that takes place in Sebastian's office. Wow! So hot! Can't wait to see where this series is going!

Number 2 in the series is hot, hot, hot.

Most of the book centers on a love scene better than anything 50 Shades has to offer.

We learn a little more about the main characters, and this, like the whole series, is extremely well written. Smoking hot, but lots of emotion and story along with that one main scene.

Well that was a hot little number. Mr. Sebastian Cain is one sexy alpha male! While Aria is just putty in his hands....while up against a window.
