As minds move to tyranny, and the consequences of such, it makes sense to look back at a play where overthrowing those tyrants has its own consequences. Shakespeare has made quite a name for himself, and this play has the humor and the hamartia of his work. Again, it is topical this day in age.

pretty much, the book goes like this:

people plot to kill someone.
people kill someone.
other people get mad because those people killed someone.
the mad people go and kill a lot of the people who killed someone.
the remaining people who killed someone (the ones who haven't been killed by the mad people) kill themselves.

happy.

I'm convinced that Brutus and Cassius were in love. Brutus didn't give a single shit about Portia, his wife, committing suicide by swallowing coals...but said "I shall find time, Cassius," to mourn him when Cassius stabs himself on the battlefield?? Like his wife died because she was so distraught BECAUSE OF Brutus and all he had to say was, "Speak no more of her.—Give me a bowl of wine.—
In this I bury all unkindness, Cassius."????? He drinks wine in her memory and never speaks of her again. When she had the worst death of them all...insane. Caesar is also crazy to think he was invincible or something because he never listened to anyone's warnings about him. He been knew to beware the 15th of March. Calpurnia even begged him not to go because of her dreams. And he still was like yeah... let me get my crown. Brutus and Cassius were also of course stupid to think they could win in their little war. They were idiotically underdeveloped.
challenging sad tense medium-paced

Not to certain on the dates but pretty sure we read this my senior year in our English literature class. I’m pretty sure we explored power, greed, guilt, and other unique characteristics of humankind.

Not what I thought it will be.
The drawings didn't touch me, I don't know for sure what I was expected but I didn't really enjoy my reading and I felt a little bit overwhelmed by the story.

Amazing :) William Shakespeare's writing is just magical!
