4.5 stars. I loved this book!! I love the feeling of adventure and being kept on the edge of my seat. It was predictable but in a good way.. like I didn’t have to think hard I could just have fun. The magic system is easily understood but still entertaining and not too childish. I feel also this is the perfect amount of romance! I enjoyed all the characters and can’t wait to continue their story in the next book!
Excited for future books in this series. There was a lot going on but felt engaging and well developed. Loved the mercenaries. Felt like a good mix of action and schemes. Twists at the end felt predictable but still excited to explore more of the backstory there. Interesting female mc and of course love a dual pov and a dark, broody mmc.

Honestly, really liked this one. It was captivating and I never wanted to put it down, even though I had to most of the time.
The FMC was very strong, but she became very emotionally attached to people and ideas very quickly. She finds information about herself and immediately makes it her personality.
Other than that, the romance and action and twists were so captivating that it kept me wanting more. I can’t wait to read book 2

Me gusto más de lo que imaginaba. Aunque el tema fantástico del libro es interesante, no se compara con el romance y la tensión que hay entre los protagonistas, definitivamente esto es lo más fuerte del libro.
Igual el final me dejó con ciertas dudas que espero que sean resueltas en el segundo libro.
