I loved loved loved it. Lorian is the most genuinely morally grey character I’ve read in a long time. sometimes I got overwhelmed with the sheer amount of characters we were being introduced to with both POVs and keeping track of all of them but what a charming bunch of mercenaries and Pris’s storyline is never ending. It really kept me gagging constantly to the point I was even reading it in my shower and listening to the audio books on my drive because I just had to know what happened next. Finished it in a day and a half. There is a little bit of spicy spice. Genuinely enemies to lovers. Slow burn. All the good things.

My first audiobook! I enjoyed this book, it had some twists, some surprises. I just feel like it's missing something
I really enjoyed reading this one. It was a 4.5 rating for me because the FMC wasn't a flighty virgin, and instead was a strong willed survivor. There was a lot in the plot to keep my interest and I'm invested in the characters. I can't wait to rip into book two!
