Beautiful! I love that it is wordless, for younger or reluctant readers, but the artwork will definitely appeal to older crowds, too.

Another beautiful almost wordless book by Guojing. I loved The Only Child, and so did my daughter, so when we saw this one we had to pick it up. Guojing has mastered a soft, nostalgic style and with just the illustration has managed to capture the mood of visits with grandma and the adventure of childhood. The story, as in The Only Child, is simple and uncluttered, perfect for any age. These are both stories that would be easily told in a few short sentences, but the pictures take the reader on a full and wonderful adventure. Perfect stories to curl up at bedtime with and drift into wonderful dreams!

Beautiful art as always. Its not a Guojing graphic novel without beautiful art that carries a lot of story. I loved all the shades of pink in The Flamingo.

This mostly wordless, beautifully illustrated graphic novel chapter book has such a beautiful story about grandmother & granddaughter. It seems so simple at first glance, but its complexity is there, within the illustrations and story, and will truly inspire!
