Compared to the first book in the series, the plot line is a little more discernable amidst the spice. However, the conflict arching throughout the trilogy could have been resolved in one book.

I loved this book! My only hangup was the character and relationship dynamic of Constantin, but everyone else was lovely. I enjoyed that there was more of a polyamorous relationship than a strict reverse harem dynamic. The plot carried through from book 1 and translated really nicely onto new characters. The worldbuilding is so intriguing, and I appreciated the focus on the characters of the theater and other supporting characters that had minor appearances in book 1.

Overall I liked it better than the first one, the murder mystery made for a good plot to bring a lot of people together and the various characters all felt like they had some personality. Hazel was a bit of a better main character than Ester was in my opinion as well.

I never imagined that I would give a smut forward book 5 stars but this one is so gooooooood. Delicious, smutty and hot. I became so incredibly invested in the happiness of these characters. Amazing.

Monstrously Delicious

Absolutely cracking addition to the first part of the series. This book took what worked best in book one and kicked it up a notch. The characters were lovable and unique. The combination of personalities were wonderful. The murder mystery made sense and tied in elements of book one beautifully. This was a great read. It’s not often I can say that a filthy smutty book is genuinely GOOD not just because the sex is stellar but because the plot, characters, and pacing all make sense.

I loved this. Everything about it. Especially the ending. Absolute perfection in my eyes!
