This is a must read!!!!
MC Romances are new to me and so is Cassandra Robbins! Both are amazing! This story focuses on Eve & Blade/Jason and unexpected love! Blade/Jason though the same man but different personalities! I feared that MC would take center stage but it’s all about the club & relationship among its members the atmosphere is similar to Mafia Romances which I also love! These relationships and dynamics create so much of the angst and problems! It’s just wonderful!!
Main Points: lots of romance, dirty talking Alpha, fearless Sassy Queen, family struggles, fighting inner-demons, surprises, twists, and turns that rock!!!

This was a really good MC book. It really gave me SOA Jax Teller vibes. Jason/Blade was rough and honestly a bit of a prick, sexist and controlling and possesive, very well into the life of an MC, he was really taken off guard by his feelings for Eve after he took her to pay off a debt.
I did like that Eve was not the type of heroine who fought tooth and nail and "hated" the hero for taking her and blah blah, not this girl, she was fine with it after her initial fight, she just wanted someone to love her and care about her... she wanted security, and she figured who better to give her that than Jason.
There where some moments I wanted to smack Jason over the head for being either cruel or an idiot, he really did fight his feelings and he was also very strong in his views about women and their "place", and that included reminding Eve he could fuck club girls whenever he wanted and she cant do shit about it... though from his POV, we know that he has no intention of doing this, but he makes Eve believe otherwise. so yes this story was very sexist like that so if thats a problem for some probably not the book for you, but for the sake of a story I found it fine and sometimes really funny because Eve did NOT like to take that shit lying down

This was a quick and easy read. The pacing was all over the place at times and some of the characters actions were out of no where but overall it was okay.

MC instead of mafia!
This is the first MC book I’ve read in a long time and can I say that I LOVE Eve- Blade may be hot, but I have a girl crush on Eve and her wittiness! She is perfection in every way, especially the way that she has trained her boys and made everyone fall in love with her. If something happens to Dewey though- I’m gonna be mad!

By 50% in I knew I wasn’t gonna like the rest of thebook. It was freaking long and the H was a jerk and kind of abusive. Nothing hot about him.

I liked this much more than my first foray into MC romance. It veered strongly enough into schmoopy that it became a little ridiculous, and it needs better proofreading, but I thought a lot of things were well done. In particular, Blade and Eve were interesting characters and had a unique dynamic that I liked. Overall, not memorable but fun.
