I wasn't sure how Sarah MacLean was going to change my opinion of Ewan, Duke of Marawick, but somehow she did. She has a knack for telling both sides of a story so you begin to understand everyone's motivation. I loved Grace and her determination, and independence. I loved the back and forth between the two of them. Loved the appearances by Felicity and Hattie and the girl pep talks they gave Grace. I loved the ending and resolution to the entire series.
This was a satisfying ending to the trilogy, even though I spent a good chunk of the book frustrated that he didn't just tell her why he'd driven her away. But then they did finally talk about it, for real, not just in passing, and that was good.
DNF. I just can't with this series. I hated the first one. The second was slightly better. I got through 6 chapters of this one and it was all internal angst. And so damn boring. I'm done.

Really sad about this one. This book was the one I was most excited for in this series bc I love a good second chance/villian redemption story. However, I found it to be kind of boring and repetitive. Plus, I hated that Ewan never really tried to earn his brothers' forgiveness? Only Grace's? And I guess the people of Covenant Garden but still... It just felt disingenuous that he would try to make himself better but only for Grace's benefit. It just doesn't sit right with me.
*4.5*
This book was HOT. It was passionate, steamy, with a big dash of heartache, frustration and so many moments where I just wanted these two to be together already!! I really did enjoy this one, I’ve loved the previous two books and I was highly anticipating Ewan and Grace; like counting the days since I finished Brazen and the Beast last year! It definitely lived up to my expectations, especially the beginning and the second half. I really loved the masquerade and I loved 72 Shelton, what a beautiful and extravagant place! I fell in love with Covet Garden and all of its hidden treasures throughout this series and I loved getting lost in Sarah’s writing. That being said, it was a bit slow. I loved and was addicting while I was reading, but I was able to put it down and not have that yearn to pick it back up. But when I read it, I loved it. It was just SO ANGSTY and FRUSTRATING at points because I understood WHY Grace had to be that way with him, I loved her so much, she’s so amazing! But it drove me crazy that he waited until the end to explain his side of the story and his side just fell a bit flat to me. It was kind of predictable why he “betrayed” them. That’s why I knocked it down a star, and I wanted more scenes of Ewan with Devil and Whitt! I wanted more of reconciliation between those two and I felt it was missing it a little bit. But I did love all the steamy moments with Grace and Ewan!! Those two killed me in this book. Im sad to see the series end but I’m really excited to see what Sarah’s got in store with Hells Belles!

The last 10% is pure perfection, while the rest of the story is a real disappointment, at least for me.
When I started reading this book I was so excited and happy, and when I got to the halfway point of the story I already wanted to DNF a couple of times.
This book didn't hold my attention at all and it was very unrealistic and unconvincing.
