This story made me angry but it didn't really give me any insight into the character.
I'm glad it ended the way it did though.

This novella gives you deeper insight into Cole from The Near Witch, but more than that, and honestly, I’m not sure if the author meant for this to be the case or if it is just when I read it, but I feel like it says something about mob mentality, how people feel about the unknown, and how people are willing to treat people when they don’t know about something.

Great little short story prelude to Near Witch.
