TW for Credence:  incest, sexual assault (including “non-con”)

i originally got this book since it was so highly rated and i wanted something ~spicy~ to read but  while it was fast paced/short enough to keep me interested enough to finish it, i could never really get “into” it because it leaned so heavily into the incest stuff, to put it bluntly.
the scenes with Jake were okay (if toeing the line when they kept bringing up the “uncle” of it all), but the threesomes with Kaleb and Noah were just off putting for me.

i am also personally uncomfortable with non-con so i didn’t really enjoy
most of the scenes with Kaleb nor the fact that they ended up together
.

finally, the “character development” felt more like a sudden switch than something that was earned.

if none if that stuff phases you, then you’ll probably enjoy this book. but to me, it was a little hard to get past.

Loved the premise at the beginning, but started to get skeeved out.  The intense male interactions were a lot to handle.

This is such a "wtf did I just read?" book. I'm seriously dumbfounded. I started reading this because I saw lots and lots of people recommending this so I had high expectations, but then when I actually read it I was like "wtf is this?" Seriously, spare yourselves.

This book was fucking weird to say the least. The writing was good I guess, but the entire story was just  weird. So this is like bleach your brain afterwards kind of book. Very controversial. I do have to say the sex scenes were hot to say the least. My brain just hurts from the entire thing 😂.
