i think the "i think you know how to love better than any of us, that's why you find it all so painful" line from fleabag is for lana del rey. i love her, and how she finds sweetness in the most mundane things. her poems are lovely; not a big fan of haikus, although loved "Open the front door / hello I say to no one / I know no one’s home" bc same. and it was also so fun to see traces from her songs in the poems.

LA Who am I to Love You? : I’m a dreamer but / I’m from nowhere who am I to dream
Salamander : because things that can’t be bought can’t be evaluated / and that makes them beyond human reach. / Untouchable / Safe / Otherworldly
Thanks to the Locals : except that I was brave / and it would’ve been easier to stay
My bedroom is a sacred place now - There are children at the foot of my bed : the more i step into becoming a poet the less / i will fall into being with you
