This book is exactly what you’d expect it to be- lesbian gunslinger fighting spies in space! The world building was rich, the characters interesting (if sometimes a little predictable), and the writing was engaging. The plot was a little uneven. The characters just jumped from one action scene to another so that when the climax finally arrived it was underwhelming. But I still had a great time and will read more by this author in the future :)

Prose wasn't my all time favourite, (but still good!) and I saw some of it coming but it was a solid, fun romp with a sapphic mc and loveable side characters

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because I guessed the twist about as early as it was possible to guess it. If you love The Locked Tomb, this will scratch that itch.

Quite good. Exactly what it says on the cover, delivered on its promises. Characters were good, romance was good, space adventure was good. Liked the ships & panache of the main character. All around a very good time.

there were so many aspects that i enjoyed but the book was too long and where did their smart brains go during the last bit of battle?

Really how can you say no to: Lesbian gunslinger fights spies in space!
was a really fun and fast passed Sci-fi. I had a very Firefly feel while reading. The world building and our MC where my highlights. I really enjoyed just being dumped into the world and discovering as the story unfolded. Rig was the perfect amount of smart-assery for me to fall inlove with.

It did take me a little while to get use to the writting style, but it didnt really pull the story down that much. I hope theres more coming from this world - panache and pizzazz it certainly had.

Oh my god....I love this so much. It's super fast paced and very action heavy but it has such wonderful moments of love and friendship that I also had something I needed. The ending was so perfect and neatly tied up. I cried so hard when I finished this.

Just really bored with the plot. Fun adventure but the character motivations were just not it for me.
