Absolutely ripped through this tale of an unnamed woman’s metamorphosis. It’s told from 3 different points of view but even as they try to pin her, she remains ephemeral and mysterious… always slightly beyond reach and understanding.

Such a weird book and I loved it. The story of a woman’s physical and mental evolution is told from 3 different perspectives (a boyfriend, her mother, and a friend). We never hear from the main character herself. This book was so compulsively readable. The main character is kind of really self absorbed, but it was still such a good read!
